ARTICLE
1
The
Organizing Committee organises the first International “Sport Extreme” Film
Festival, 13th until the 17th April
2006. This
is a competition open to professional and amateur filmmakers with a competition.
ARTICLE
2
Documentaries submitted to the Festival
should deal with the following topics :
extreme sport, snow, river, sea, air, road.
Fiction
films any topic is acceptable as long as the film main setting is adventure.
ARTICLE
3
Film
must be in 35mm or video format, 12 minutes minimum. If your film is selected,
the Festival will send you a document providing technical specifications
required for the copy that will be shown.
ARTICLE

Entries
must come with :
* a summary in French or English detailed enough.
* one filled copy of the technical entry form.
* for films in a foreign language : a French or English version of the spoken
script or commentary, for as much as technically possible, simultaneous
translation during projection..
* 2
photos free of charge to be published by the festival press office.
* the director's CV to compete for the young film director's Prize.
ARTICLE

Selection
for the competition is at the absolute discretion of the selection committee.
However,
the Festival directors may accept or invite specific films regardless of their
year of production, providing that they deal with the subjects covered by the
Festival.

The
movie,
will be not finish, will be not select.
Selection

a
French or English version of the spoken script or commentary
Forwarding
charges of all films, competing or not, will be at the participants expenses.
The Festival will pay for returning the films by recorded mail.
ARTICLE

Although
all movies participating to the competition will be treated with utmost care,
the direction cannot assume any responsibility for any damage they could suffer
during shipment, while being shown or at any other time. Participants are
therefore invited to insure their films accordingly.

10
Prize-winning
filmmakers undertake to mention their prize in their film redit.
Prizes
are single and indivisible and given to the eligible parties.

Films compete for the

Depending
on films quality, some prizes may not be awarded.
All
selected films will receive a participation certificate
from Saint-étienne de
Tinée and Auron.
The
timetable for the shows of the competing and invited films will be set according
to a programme established by the Festival directors based on organisation
criteria. Their decision is final.
ARTICLE
13
All
competitors undertake to provide one copy, at costs, of the movies to be shown
in the event that the Festival would require one for its film library.
ARTICLE
14
Selected
filmmakers are invited, as much as possible and within limits set by the
Organising Committee, to come and introduce their film at the public shows.
ARTICLE

Organising Committee can invite the protagonist and one guest.

16
The
Committee must receive technical application forms prior to December 15th . The
directors do not guarantee in any way that applications received after that date
will be accepted in the competition.
Filmmakers are requested to send, together with their application, a VHS tape or
DVD for preselection viewing.
Films selected for the competition must reach the Committee at least 2 weeks
prior to the Festivalwithout financial return.
ARTICLE 17
All the competitor tape will be retained
by the Festival for its archives.
