REGULATIONS
2008
Art. 1
The Organization Committee to the
Festival of AURON is promoting the 3rd “Extreme Sport” Film Festival
International, the 3rd until the 6th of April
2008. It will take the form of a competition, open to professional as
well as amateur film-makers.
Art. 2
Films will be accepted if they are
directly related the Extreme Sport.

sports)
Art. 3
All video standards may be entered
in the contest (see registration form).
Art. 4
The foreign films will be
presented in their original version. In this case, they are to be subtitled ; if
not, a summary in french or in english is to be joined to the film, so as to
make the films perfectly understandable.
Art. 5
The Organization Committee will
determine the acceptance of the films into the
competition.
The following will be barred
without right of appeal :
a) films which do not fulfill the
conditions of rule 3 ;
b) films which are technically and
artistically insufficient ;
c) sound-tracked untitled films ;
Will you please limit your
production 10 mn at 30 mn.
The Selection Committee can also
choose to present to the public, not for competition,
certain films which, although not
acceptable (for the competition),are to interest with regards to the main themes
of the festival.
Art. 6
The following will not be accepted
for the competition :
• films wich have been made in
collaboration of any sort with members of the jury,
• incomplete or unfinished films.
Art. 7
The forwarding charges of all the
films presented, whether they should take part in competition or not, will be at
the charge of the competitors.
Art. 8
Single and invisible prizes will
be given to the persons who signed the enrolment
form.

The Organization Committee will be
allowed to exibit only short cuts of the films during the Festival’s.
The Organization Committee decide without right
of appeal the creation or the suppression of any prize,
before the 31st of March 2008.
The Audience Prize will be given
by the audience present in the Festival.
Art. 10
As far as they can, the
film-makers are requested to come and introduce their films at public showings,
under the conditions specified by the Organization Committee.
Art. 11
The decision of the jury with
regards to the classification of the films is final.
Art. 12
The time at wich the films
admitted to the competition and any other films are shown will be decided by the
festival directors according to organizing criteria. Their decisions will be
final.
Art. 13
Although the greatest care will be
taken for all the films submitted, the organisers
willl in no event be liable for
damages resulting from transit or any causes
whatever. The competitors are
therefore invited to adequately insure their films.
Art. 14
In order to set up a film library
for the festival, the Organization Committee will
keep the DVD copy (sent for the
selection) of the selected films.
The Organization Committee will
not show films without the producer's authorization
for the two years'period following
the film's date of release.
Art. 15
The Organizing Committee allows
themselves the right to freely use the selected films for 2 minutes TV clips
with the aim to introduce the festival.

Art. 17
Entries and films must arrive
before the
1st of January 2008.
Art. 18
All films must be sent, by mail or
special delivery to: AVENIR Organisation, Les Peupliers, boulevard Paul
OLLIE ; 06.660 Saint-étienne de Tinée
Films from countries outside of
European Community will be registered by the Organization and reported to
Customs in order to set up re-exporting terms, close of the
event.
Art. 19
Enrolment will imply acceptance to
all the stated conditions.
The Festival asks the producers of prize-winning films to give
in a video copy to the Festival records, to mention the prize in any
advertisement for the film, and if the film is distribued, to have it appear in
the credits, on posters and press kits.
